Today (11th March 2016) I rang the surgery at 8.30 am to get an appointment. After a number of repeat calls (taking 10 minutes) I got through to Nicola on reception. Nicola was very pleasant, helpful and professional and she offered me an appointment for 10.30 am with Dr Crabtree. Whenever I ring for an appointment I can always get an appointment quickly. I have also been referred for an MRI scan and Physio recently and these appointments have come through very quickly. I am very impressed by the service I have received and it has helped me to deal with the pain I am currently experiencing. Today Dr Crabtree was very professional and helpful in suggesting a course of action and she involved me throughout in what should happen next. I would like to say thank you to everyone at Fitznells for their support.

Awful telephone staff, rude and unprofessional. Never say hello or goodbye and always in a rush to get rid of you. Can't even leave a direct feedback with them. Terrible Receptionist are slightly better but still need to review their attitude towards patients. Doctors can't be bothered to examine you properly, often they are also in rush ajd unfortunately don't seem to have proper qualifications as they miss things and don't have a clue about some items.

Just in case I have misread the survey, my last comment is "It is not at all easy to get an appointment at Fitznells" I have needed to have blood tests at least 4 times a year for the last 15 years and my wife has about the same number. It has never been "easy" to get blood tests at this surgery despite the fact that they have the "Wishing Well" which clearly looks perfect for this service, (and a nurses room!) Every single person I have met, been seen by, etc has always been absolutely superb, doctors, nurses, and office/reception, they are all the same - wonderful. Such a shame that somewhere there, the appointments gremlin (one of the longest serving residents) is almost always around, especially when it comes to getting a blood test. Please not also, The Old Cottage is terribly difficult to get to for a 5 minute appointment for many of us who are now quite elderly!

Having called 5 times today (25/2/16), and waiting well over 20 minutes for each call to be answered, I had to call again as I had been given news from the hospital and needed my results. I waited 16 minutes, was answered, asked if I could hold and then promptly hung up on. I have then had to call again and go through the same process. This is unfair. I understand you are short staffed but this is ridiculous. Now on the phone still awaiting pick up yet again...through no fault of my own. Not happy,

It is very difficult to get an appointment. This week I have tried to ring every morning and at different times of the day and still haven't got through.
